Disappointing, but not awful. I hold Hashish to a pretty high standard, they’re a safe bet, and probably my favorite brand of live rosin. The few strains I’ve had from them I’ve loved them all, except now. This Cazablanca had everything but the heavy high. Great look, the smell was potent, and the flavor boasted a strong candy-gas mix, with potent lemon and diesel terps. I really liked the smell and taste, Hashish got the candy flavor on point. If it weren’t for the weak high, I’d rank this a near-perfect 10. But the effects ruin this CaZablanca for me.
A weak head and body high, the effects are mostly in the body, and it’s not an issue that multiple dabs will fix. It’s mids. A “high-functioning” high, if we can call it that. Maybe a “medicinal” high. Whatever is a nice way to describe the weak effects because this just doesn’t do it for me. All bark but no bite. The high doesn’t last long; 30 minutes tops. Just a shit show of a high. Everything else was on point, but the most important aspect failed to deliver.
I’m back to smoking rosin, and I’ll be reviewing more Hashish strains. I really hope this isn’t a sign of things to come. Maybe I’ll like the white boxes more. I still highly recommend their rosin as it’s top-shelf quality and affordable, but I’d stay away from this strain. Unless you’re itching for mids, this won’t do it for you.
