Love this strain, but it comes with a few drawbacks. First, I wanna start with the good shit about Highuasca (besides the awesome name). Just look at it. The entire eighth is in one stem, with multiple buds attached to each other, stuck like some glue. An incredibly sticky strain. My heart broke just pulling this shit apart, but my fingers were stuck together. A pretty strain, too. I love the orange pistils popping out in each corner, which is a nice switch up because I don’t usually see flower with this many tangerine hairs showing out. I like the different shades of green on this Highuasca, along with the many trichomes. Certainly not a boring strain to look at, and one that you can brag about to your friends and/or smoke buddies.
The high is fantastic, too! A fine strain for a chilling, yet focusing high. A creative high, good for creating art, watching art, or just sitting your ass down to laugh at nothing. I’m watching Idiocracy right now—absolute cinema that happens to be teetering on that fine line of art and brainrot. Truly a film ahead of its time. The effects last hours and is incredibly enjoyable.
What sucks about Highuasca is the smell and taste. Its got that earthy, sort of hay-like effect. It won’t stink up the room and it won’t taste like strawberries and unicorn farts. It tastes like grass. It’s bland and the smoke itself isn’t necessarily a memorable one. The ham and cheese sandwhich in a world of spicy italian and cold cut meat subs, like gabbagool (capocollo). Only when you feel the effects creeping in is where you find the magic. This Highuasca fucks you up, you just might not enjoy what it smells and tastes like. Good ass weed, more of the same from CBX. I find a few drawbacks in their weed from time to time, but the high/effects absolutely make up for ‘em. Cop this shit. It’ll be overpriced at whichever dispensary that has CBX, but you’ll love it regardless.
