A new favorite of mine, and though I’ve been saying that lately about a lot of strains, this Styrofoam Cup kicks my ass harder than most. The one slight criticism I have with it is the lack of stickiness with the flower. Other than that, this shit hits on everything else. The look to this flower is top-tier; frosty, shades of deep purple and green, tangerine pistils creeping on every corner. This Styrofoam Cup almost looks chrome, and I’ve only said that about one other strain in the past (Cosmic Bananas). An absolutely beautiful cure to it. I could almost cry looking at it.
The smell and taste are on par with the cure, although it’s very distinct. It’s hard for me to describe the aroma other than a funky earth mix with a slight bit of gas. The box it came in labels Styrofoam Cup as “Pungent gasoline & delicious fresh baked cookies with sweet & musky undertones.” I don’t get the baked cookies part of it, but for sure the musky and gas mix. How do you describe musky to someone other than a person who smells like shit? I don’t know, so I’ll just call it a funky gas smell and taste. Potent, a stinker when you open the shallow glass jar it comes in, and strong as all hell.
The high from this is definitely a creeper. I was worried after I ripped a bowl because I didn’t feel shit. But a few minutes later it started to creep on me, sedating mostly the head but still a good portion of the body, too. A focus high, though. This won’t knock you out, this will have you laser focused on whatever it is you’re doing. Great for watching a movie, playing your favorite game, watching sports, even having sex. Strait up, it’ll relax you but can also have you productive if you feel the need to be. Listening to music is also good when smoking this Styrofoam Cup. I’ve been heavy on the Freddie Gibbs lately. He’s one of the best in our generation, man. Just a goddamn impeccable run of albums from start to finish. Also still heavy on the Korn. Helmet, too.
This is some of the best shit on the legal market. It’s totally overpriced for an eighth unless you get it on sale at whatever dispensary is running one. Since it was recently Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and Christmas soon, the dispos have been going crazy with the sales. I went to Wellgreens on Balboa, abused their FTP discount, and left as the happy cheapskate that I am. Get this Styrofoam Cup while you can. I was shocked to see how many people in San Diego vouched for this strain. I guess it’s what’s trending right now. It’s top shelf flower and some of the best in San Diego. I’d buy this every time I have the chance.
